WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I’m located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but I’m happy to travel depending on your needs!

HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE “KUEHL”?

My last name is pronounced like “keel”, but people often say it like “cool” (which I'm told is actually the correct pronunciation in Germany). It’s okay if you mispronounce it; I don’t mind being called the “Cool Photographer” [hint, hint]!

DO YOU EDIT THE IMAGES?

Yes! All of my services include basic editing to ensure proper exposure, brightness, contrast, etc; that are representative of my style and meet the needs of my clients. For portraits and commercial sessions, I will make corrections for smudges, skin blemishes, etc. where they're needed. However, I will first make every attempt to make any corrections at the time of the service. You know what they say - "work smarter, not harder!"

*Before you book me for event coverage, please let me know if you need the final images quickly for a specific deadline without editing. I'm happy to accommodate as much as possible, and it could lower my hourly rate!

DO YOU REQUIRE A RETAINER?

Yes, I require a 25% retainer with the booking of any of my services to reserve your date and time. However, if you need to reschedule your session, just let me know; I’ll exhaust any possible option to accommodate a change! The remainder of any fees must be paid in full by the date of the service. All fees must be paid in full before you will be given access to your final image gallery.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

I accept cash, checks, credit cards, or ACH bank transfers for payment of any session or event coverage. 

DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?

Yes, I charge sales tax on all of my services, and the rate is determined by the location where the service is performed. If you are a tax-exempt organization, I’ll just need a copy of your tax exemption certificate to waive any applicable taxes.

DO YOU GIVE RIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?

I retain ownership of the images and reserve the right to use them for any of my business promotion needs, but you have the ability to download the images from a password-protected online gallery at no extra cost. There will also be a signed print release uploaded to your gallery. Whether you want portraits of your family, professional headshots, or you’re a business owner that needs images for an advertisement, you will have access to the files of your images for use at your discretion. This excludes the sale of any of the images to a third party, and use by a third party without written consent. 

DO YOU PROVIDE A CD OR USB FLASH DRIVE OF THE IMAGES?

Since you can download the images directly from your online gallery, I do not provide a CD or USB flash drive.

HOW DO I ACCESS MY GALLERY?

Once your final images are ready, I will send an email containing the link and the password to access your private gallery. Then you can share them with others at your discretion.
